Day 7

Subject: [firstname]: Make sure you get the most from YouTube

Hey [firstname]!

In this final installment, I want to give you a few “do's and don'ts” to help you get the most from marketing on YouTube.

DO recognize that the power of YouTube marketing is in its ability to persuade and to sell an idea.
DO think long and hard about what you can genuinely achieve and in what time frame. Have a good think about the type of video that will best suit your goals as well.
DON’T go in front of the camera if it’s not something you're good at.
DON’T have videos with generic or dull subjects and titles.
DO embed your YouTube videos on social media, your blog and elsewhere.
DO have calls to action at the end – and consider asking people to share, like and subscribe.
DON’T let your YouTube channel become a ghost town – post regularly.
DON’T be salesy in your videos – you’ll just turn people off.
DON’T make your videos too long.
DO record in HD – preferably 1080.

Perhaps most importantly…

DO make sure your videos comply with all YouTube's T&Cs
DON'T post anything offensive – you don't want to end up getting banned.

Wow! We've covered quite a lot over this last week or so – from what you can use YouTube for, to YouTube marketing basics, the types of videos you can make, getting views fast, and a lot more.

But you know what?

In this short e-course I've only been able to scratch the surface of all the wonderful ways you can integrate YouTube into your marketing efforts. There's a whole bunch of stuff I just haven't had time to tell you – [chapter heading of your choice here] and [chapter heading of your choice here] for example. I go into those and more in my YouTube marketing manual. I've still got a few copies left, but they're going fast. Grab your copy RIGHT NOW from [link to sales page] before your competitors do.

To your success!
